Project Description

Rijksmuseum of ethnology

What is the impact of climate change for the inhabitants of the North Pole who have lived for generations in arctic conditions?

The temporary exhibition ‘When the ice melts’ starts with the history of ice and snow.

Objects and film footage make the visitor aware of the cold conditions. Throughout the exhibition an interactive barometer gives the visitor the opportunity to decide on his or her point of view in the climate debate.
