OAn ‘open depot’ has been set up on the renewed fifth floor of the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam. Iconic collection pieces, that made the Heineken brand big since the end of the 19th century, are exhibited. Starting with the ‘Diplome de Grand Prix’; the gold medal awarded to Heineken in 1875 at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1889. This masterpiece is displayed in a secure showcase.
The original, green lunar moon that was used in the advertising campaign 1988-’89 (“What a wonderful world“) is also part of Heineken’s memory lane. You’ll also find the first transport bike, all types of bottle caps, bottles, crates, illuminated signs, etc. that have characterized the brand over the years.
Heijmerink Wagemakers was – in continuation of the technical development and realization of the Brew You Ride – commissioned for the realization of the exhibition interior within the Heineken Experience. In January 2018, the Heineken Experience was enriched with the new, spectacular Brew You Ride attraction. Hundreds of enthusiastic guests have now made the audiovisual journey in the former brewery in Amsterdam. In the beginning of November, Heineken expects to receive the millionth visitor of this year!
